I'm room dining 3.5 and restaurant dining 6 Lunch: I was kindly welcome by the host, promptly seated to a table of my liking, which got warm in the sun and then kindly moved by waitstaff. The decor was elegant, I enjoyed the chandelier with the hanging raw crystals. My waitress was happy to discuss menu items - I like to inquire into flavor profiles to avoid choosing an option not to my liking. I ordered the tortilla soup. The cocktail wasn't anything spectacular. I expected floral notes as flowers was in its title and an edible flower. The warm bread roll was large sweet bread with a light dust of salt to complete a sweet and salty pairing - the honey butter was delicate and came out at perfect temperature. The tiny bowl made it easy to wipe up every bit of the perfect butter with the soft airy baked with love bread. The soup broth was kept in a separate warm pitcher, poured for me when delivered and it was a captivating. I appreciate that as it does not wilt cook or moisten the fresh ingredients en route to the table and keeps the broth at perfect temperature. The avocado was peak fresh, could have been cut in uniform sizes to the other vegetables, I did have to cut it into bite sizes. The tortillas did not turn soggy and I appreciate this. The broth immediately filled my senses. The silverware and soup spoon were elegant and substantial. Chicken tortilla soup has a savory smoky aromatic fragrance somewhat hint of rustic "gamey-ness" complex oil of fats and aroma - It works! It was unique and a very thick and well saturated in flavor, bold, not a light broth by any circumstance- it was deep, earthy, blended balance of spices - the spice lingered subtly and softly in the palette after and washed down with water - fresh ingredients picked at perfection! This rustic craft artisan chicken tortilla soup was my favorite item. I enjoyed dipped and sobbing up the broth within extra sweet roll they so kindly provided. The chicken: I enjoyed the aroma, it was an earthy herb . It was moist and succulent, perfectly cooked, bone in. The waitress offered a wine sampling as I wanted a nice pairing, a new Sonoma Chardonnay, not too dry and a hint of butter, it paired well - the chef let's ingredients natural flavors be the star, via quality ingredients. The vegetables perfectly charred and al dente - The plate arrived hot to keep the food warm. The broccolinis & peppers natural flavors was brought alive. char allows the complex flavors of vegetables to be dynamic. Chicken sauce consistency was balanced, lemon not overbearing, I wish I had a bit more!. The sauce had hint of sun dried tomato herbs. The pickled topping made a fresh match.. the pickling vegetables are chilled - the food here is definitely not one note, it is a symphony! Each instrument, heard. The zucchini was cut thick enough to not become mush, until leftover - these dishes are made to be enjoyed right away served with optimal timing. The serving size could serve two people.

[Update July 2024: still an absolute winner on a recent visit for dinner. New photos added.] A lovely Sunday brunch here at Tribute. We got off to a slightly slow start, but they were very busy and the staff stayed friendly and kind. Excellent food is coming when you dine here, so don't Hoover down a dozen of their delicious rolls. (Much easier said than done.) For wine and spirits lovers, you're going to have fun making your way through their deep selection. We are inside but the patio area among the trees is beautiful. It's worth planning a little extra time to stroll around and enjoy the oasis of The Houstonian's grounds. We look forward to returning!

Perfect ambience, excellent food, attention to detail, superb service! What more can we say. It was an excellent choice to celebrate a double birthday dinner with hubby. Our server, Erick was amazing! He made sure that dinner was served extra special and was very accommodating when we asked him about the history of the restaurant and the Manor House. Thank you for making our day great!
